O·M·N·I Help

O·M·N·I was designed for computers and operating systems that are now decades old, so getting it running today can occasionally require a little detective work. This page collects known issues, fixes, workarounds, frequently asked questions, and other helpful information we’ve discovered while restoring and experimenting with O·M·N·I.

We’ll also document known-good hardware, virtual machine, operating system, and software configurations as they become available, so you don’t necessarily have to reinvent the wheel just to get O·M·N·I up and running.

As we learn more, we’ll continue adding solutions and tested configurations here. If you’ve encountered a problem, or better yet, figured out how to fix one, we’d love to hear from you.
